Hamas has published the names of three new hostages to be released on Saturday.
This is what the spokesman for the Al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Obeida, wrote on the messaging service Telegram.
Those to be released are Ofer Calderon (54), Keith Siegel (65) and Yarden Bibas (35).
Siegel, a US citizen but resident of Israel, was kidnapped from the Kfar Aza kibbutz on October 7, 2023. His wife was also kidnapped but was released two months later.
Calderon, who holds French and Israeli citizenship, was kidnapped from Kibbutz Nir Oz along with two of her children. The children were released in November 2023.
Bibas was kidnapped along with his wife Shiri and their two young children, who were just nine months and four years old. These are the only children still in captivity.
Hamas has previously claimed that the three were killed in an Israeli airstrike in late 2023, but Israeli authorities say they have no intelligence to confirm this. Israel has demanded that Hamas account for their condition, the Times of Israel reports.
