Iran will hold nuclear talks with three European countries on Friday in Istanbul, the Foreign Ministry said.
The meeting marks the first diplomatic engagement since a ceasefire ended a brief conflict with Israel last month. Prior to the fighting, Iran had conducted multiple rounds of negotiations with the United States over its nuclear program.
Iran is seeking relief from international sanctions, while Western countries continue to push for limits on uranium enrichment and nuclear development. Tehran has repeatedly stated its nuclear activities are intended for civilian purposes.
