Eighteen Palestinians have reportedly died of starvation in the past 24 hours, according to Gaza’s health authorities, as the UN raises alarm over worsening malnutrition across the territory.
Civil Defense officials say infant deaths linked to severe hunger are increasing, with many families unable to access baby formula or basic healthcare. Tens of thousands are believed to need emergency treatment for acute malnutrition.
The UN says food supplies exist but are not reaching the population due to ongoing restrictions and blockades. Aid agencies continue to call for safe and unrestricted humanitarian access to prevent further loss of life.
