The Israeli army is warning Lebanese against returning to villages in southern Lebanon, despite the ceasefire that has been implemented.
According to the ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah, which came into effect on November 27, Israeli forces were supposed to have withdrawn from southern Lebanon by January 26.
This did not happen, and the deadline has now been extended to February 18th.
A spokesman for the Israeli government army warns residents of southern Lebanon against returning home as long as there are Israeli forces in the area.
“We have no intention of harming you. Until further notice, you must not return to your homes,” the warning, which was published by the Haaretz newspaper, said .
