The Greek holiday island of Santorini has experienced a number of minor earthquakes in the past 24 hours, and the authorities have decided to keep schools closed on Monday.
According to Greek seismologists, twelve earthquakes were recorded on Sunday within a few hours, the strongest measured at 4.6.
Greek authorities are urging residents of the island to avoid crowds and stay away from certain areas.
There are only about 15,000 permanent residents on Santorini, but the island receives between 3 and 4 million tourists annually.
