FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – Larnaca has been named the leading European destination for baby boomers, according to a recent study by TUI Musement, part of one of the world’s largest travel operators.
The research, which analyzed experience bookings by travelers aged 65 and older, placed the coastal city at the top of a seven-destination list.
With an average rating of 8.76, Larnaca secured its spot thanks to its cultural heritage, the bustling Finikoudes promenade, and popular excursions to nearby attractions, including the Troodos Mountains and the traditional villages of Lefkara and Fikardou.
The rankings also featured two Greek islands, underscoring the enduring appeal of the Mediterranean for older travelers.
