A group of livestock farmers will hold a protest on Friday, May 8, gathering at 11 a.m. at the Rizoelia roundabout, representatives said after a meeting in Choirokoitia.
Neofytos Kasapis, speaking for the “Voice of Livestock Farmers,” said the sector remains a core pillar of the economy and argued the demonstration concerns broader social issues, not only farmers’ grievances.
Kasapis described the action as “dynamic” but declined to provide further details. Asked about possible disruption, he said the group respects the public and intends to protest without causing problems.
