The Love Mural Festival 2025 will bring its traveling celebration of creativity and connection to the mountain village of Galata on June 29, transforming the heart of the Nicosia district community into a vibrant canvas of color and culture.
The one-day event, held at Vrysi tou Pogiatzi near the village square, will run from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. and feature the live creation of a large-scale mural, accompanied by food, drinks and music. Local DJ Koulla P. Katsikoronou will provide the soundtrack with upbeat, feel-good sets, while Thelonagino Mpoufentzis will serve refreshments.
At 5 p.m., the festival will host the “Love Workshop,” a participatory session for adults focused on unity, communication and joyful coexistence through music, movement and dialogue. A separate creative workshop will also be available for children.
