FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – More than 2,500 people in Cyprus have been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), a chronic autoimmune disease affecting the central nervous system, according to a report by Haravgi newspaper.
Health Minister Michalis Damianos stated that the number of MS patients in the region has exceeded 2,500, adding that approximately 2.5 million people worldwide are affected by the disease.
