The Museum of the EOKA Struggle will open to the public on Wednesday, April 1, to mark the anniversary of the launch of the 1955–59 anti‑colonial uprising, the Deputy Ministry of Culture has said.

The museum will operate from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and will showcase original material from the period, including leaflets, letters, weapons, personal belongings of fighters and rare photographs documenting daily life and underground activity during the campaign.

Officials said the visit offers an opportunity for the public to engage with the historical record and artifacts of the era, contributing to the preservation of collective memory.

The museum is located at Archbishop Kyprianos Square in central Nicosia. Admission is free.
