A 26‑year‑old woman from Nepal has died from injuries sustained in a road collision in Limassol, police have said.
Lakpadoma Sherpa had been hospitalised in a private clinic after the crash, which occurred at around 8am on 10 February on Nikou Pattichi Street.
Police said a 52‑year‑old woman driving a car collided under unspecified circumstances with the electric scooter the victim was riding.
The 26‑year‑old was taken to hospital by ambulance and had been on a ventilator before succumbing to her injuries on Friday night.
Limassol traffic police are continuing their investigation.
