Scuffles broke out on Makariou Avenue in Larnaca last night, involving young men of Arab origin, according to local police.

The incidents prompted a swift response from police patrol cars, but the youths fled in various directions upon the officers’ approach.

No injuries were reported, and police conducted searches in the area to locate those involved.

Authorities noted that none of the young men came forward to file complaints or seek medical treatment.

The police are currently reviewing CCTV footage from the area in an effort to identify the participants in the scuffles.

The investigation is ongoing.

There have been several incidents involving fights among foreigners in Larnaca recently. One notable incident occurred on New Year’s Eve at Finikoudes beach, where dozens of people, reportedly foreigners, got into a fight.
