FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrived in Budapest early Thursday morning, marking his first European trip since the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued an arrest warrant against him for alleged war crimes in Gaza.
Netanyahu landed at 2:30 a.m. and is set to hold talks with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
The two leaders are scheduled to address the media in a joint press conference Thursday afternoon.
Netanyahu’s visit, which will last until Sunday, underscores his continued diplomatic engagements despite the ICC’s legal actions.
