The Department of Meteorology has issued a new orange warning for extremely low temperatures in Cyprus.
This warning is in effect from 10 PM tonight, Sunday, until 8 AM Monday morning.
The cold weather is due to the barometric low “Coral,” which is currently affecting the region.
According to the warning, the minimum temperature in the highest mountains is expected to drop to around minus ten degrees Celsius.
A slight increase in temperature is expected on Monday, with a noticeable rise on Tuesday and Wednesday.
