Halifax Airport was temporarily closed Saturday evening after parts of an Air Canada plane caught fire upon landing, CBC reports.
The plane, which was en route from St. John’s, encountered problems during landing and skidded off the runway and began to burn.
Passengers reported seeing flames and smoke coming in through the windows. All passengers were evacuated. No injuries were reported.
