Police say an investigative team has been working since the first hours after the April 11 building collapse on Aischylou Street, No. 7, in the Potamos Germasogeias area of Limassol.
Officers are taking statements from all involved parties and evaluating information in cooperation with the relevant authorities. The investigation aims to determine whether any criminal offenses arise.
Police said the case is being handled with “appropriate seriousness and responsibility.” Further updates will be provided when possible without affecting the inquiry.
Once the investigation is completed, the file will be forwarded to the Legal Service for review and instructions on further action.
