Members of the National Anti-Corruption Commission conducted a coordinated operation yesterday, resulting in the arrest of two individuals and the seizure of over half a kilo of cocaine.

A 48-year-old man was stopped at around 4:30 p.m. on the Limassol-Nicosia motorway near the Zygi exit.

During a vehicle search, police found two nylon packages containing 363 grams of cocaine, a half-smoked handmade cannabis cigarette, and other evidence.

The man was arrested for a felony.

Later, a 36-year-old man was stopped in Limassol.

A search of his car revealed a package with 100 grams of cocaine.

A subsequent search of his apartment uncovered six grams of a substance resembling ketamine, an airtight packaging machine, two rolls of airtight packaging bags, and another package with 101 grams of cocaine. He was arrested for a flagrant offense.

Both suspects were taken into custody to facilitate interrogations. The YKAN (Limassol Provincial Level) continues its investigations.
