Romania’s Ministry of National Defence said Wednesday it signed an intergovernmental agreement to purchase a HISAR‑class light corvette from Türkiye.
The 223 million‑euro ($260 million) contract covers the vessel, crew training and logistical support, according to the ministry.
Acting Defence Minister Radu Miruta and Turkish Deputy Defence Minister Musa Heybet attended the signing ceremony.
