Sales of new electric vehicles in Russia jumped 57 percent year on year in November, marking the second consecutive month of growth, according to Autostat.
The automotive analytics agency reported that 1,602 EVs were sold last month.
Russian brand Amberauto led the market with a record 404 units, followed by Evolute with 222.
Chinese automakers Zeekr, Xiaomi and BYD rounded out the top five.
Despite the recent surge, overall EV sales from January to November totaled 11,200 units — down 31 percent compared with the same period last year, Autostat said.
