A construction incident in Nicosia led to road closures Tuesday after part of a building collapsed during renovation works, causing the scaffolding to fall into Makarios Avenue.
According to local media, the collapse occurred around midday. Police cordoned off the area, closing the road between the nearby police station and Evagoros Avenue as a safety precaution.
No injuries have been reported at this time, although officials have not released full details regarding possible casualties.
