The death toll from a Sudanese military plane crash in a residential area on the outskirts of Khartoum has now risen to 46, according to the country’s Ministry of Health.
The crash occurred on Tuesday, and search efforts are ongoing to find the remaining victims under the rubble.
Earlier reports from activists indicated that 10 people had been killed in the crash.
The Ministry of Health confirmed the updated death toll and stated that rescue operations are continuing to locate any additional victims.
