FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – A study conducted by the Consumers and Quality of Life Association in Cyprus, in collaboration with CMRC-Cypronetwork, has revealed widespread financial difficulties among households.
The survey found that 64% of respondents reported being in a very difficult financial situation, while 34% said they were barely making ends meet.
An additional 30% faced challenges in managing their finances, underscoring the extent of economic strain across the population.
Rising product prices have compounded the problem, with 90% of participants observing cost increases and 52% cutting back on daily shopping as a result.
Two-thirds of respondents indicated significant financial struggles, while 36% expressed satisfaction with their income, according to the findings.
