FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – Twelve people lost their lives in traffic accidents in Cyprus between January 1 and April 30, according to police reports.
Among the victims, four were motorcyclists, one was a cyclist, three were drivers who were not wearing seat belts, and three were pedestrians.
The police statement highlighted the importance of road safety measures, including helmet and seat belt use, as well as pedestrian awareness.
Authorities continue to emphasize the need for improved traffic regulations and public awareness campaigns to reduce fatalities and enhance road safety across the region.
