President Donald Trump and entrepreneur Elon Musk will hold a joint press conference Friday afternoon, following Musk’s resignation from his position in the administration.
The event is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Eastern time in the Oval Office, marking Musk’s final day leading the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
Musk, who has served as a special government employee, confirmed his departure Wednesday, citing a return to his business ventures.
“This will be his last day, but not really, because he will always be with us, helping all the way,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
