Donald Trump believes Americans should worry less about Vladimir Putin, focus on immigration and ensure that the United States does not end up like Europe.
This was the message in a message posted by Trump on the website Truth Social on Sunday evening local time.
‘We should spend less time worrying about Putin and more time worrying about immigrant gang rapists, drug lords, murderers, and people from psychiatric institutions coming into our country – so we don’t end up like Europe!’ writes the US president.
His approach to Russia and harsh criticism of Ukraine have caused great unrest in Europe.
There is also great unrest in the Democratic Party in the United States. Senator Chris Murphy claims that the White House has become “an arm” controlled by the Kremlin.
In the Republican Party, many have instead supported Trump’s new foreign policy course.
