Turkey’s Ministry of Trade has announced a new system designed to speed up corrections to export declarations.
In a statement shared on social media, the ministry said that holders of export declarations under regime code 1000 would now be able to update data fields directly from their offices or designated data entry halls.
The pilot scheme began on 9 December at the Ankara and Esenboğa customs directorates. Officials said the new process had already been implemented successfully, allowing corrections to be made “much faster and more easily” than before.
The ministry added that the system would be rolled out across all customs administrations in the coming months. It said the reform would ease the workload for exporters and staff, helping export procedures to move “more quickly and efficiently.”
