Turkey’s Exports to Syria Top $3 Billion

Turkey’s exports to Syria have exceeded $3 billion this year, up from $1.95 billion in 2023, marking a 54% increase.

SpeBurdur and Isparta remain key contributors to Turkey’s overall export performance.

Turkey recorded $261.8 billion in goods exports in 2024, with the 12‑month rolling total now above $270 billion. Between January and November, goods exports reached $270.6 billion, he said.

Turkey also continues to post a surplus in services trade, reporting $122.5 billion in services exports on a rolling basis through November.

Combined goods and services exports reached $393.1 billion in November, he said.

Trade with Syria has expanded significantly since the fall of the Assad regime on Dec. 8, 2024, and commercial ties have strengthened with both northern regions and the Damascus administration.
