FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – Turkish intelligence chief Ibrahim Kalin met with a Hamas delegation Saturday to discuss humanitarian aid delivery to war-ravaged Gaza, according to the semi-official Anadolu Agency.
The meeting included Kalin, head of the Turkish National Intelligence Organization, and Muhammad Darwish, leader of Hamas’ Shura Council.
The two sides reportedly reviewed international measures to facilitate aid to Gaza and discussed efforts aimed at halting Israel’s actions in the territory.
They also addressed the need for a unified stance against Israel’s plans to displace Palestinians, Anadolu reported, citing anonymous security sources.
Israel resumed airstrikes on Gaza on March 18, ending a two-month ceasefire and blocking the flow of aid to the enclave.
