FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – A woman was injured Thursday afternoon after falling onto rocks near the sea caves in Ayia Napa.
Fire and Rescue Services retrieved the victim and transported her by ambulance to Famagusta General Hospital for medical care.
In light of the incident, authorities are urging the public to avoid approaching or diving in the sea cave area at Cape Greco.
Police reiterated that such activities are strictly prohibited.
A recent inspection by the Geological Survey Department determined the terrain to be hazardous due to increased erosion.
