A Spanish and a Cypriot national are accused of operating a high-end drug distribution network on the island of Mykonos, allegedly supplying narcotics to luxury villas, exclusive clubs and celebrity clients, police said Sunday.
The suspects, described as well-dressed and socially adept, reportedly blended into the island’s upscale nightlife scene while managing what authorities called a “pharmacy” of hard and expensive drugs. According to investigators, the pair built a network of contacts that included club staff, public relations managers and villa concierges.
Police said one suspect handled client relations and distribution in VIP venues, while the other managed logistics, storage and finances. The operation was structured like a business, allowing the men to discreetly cover all aspects of the illicit trade.
Authorities did not release the names of the suspects or specify the substances involved. The investigation is ongoing.
