Strong rain and thunderstorms, with localized hail, are expected early Sunday in Corfu, Paxos and Epirus, according to the Greek national weather service.
Clouds and scattered showers will affect western and northern Greece, with some areas experiencing intense conditions. Weather is expected to improve by late afternoon.
Elsewhere, skies will remain mostly clear, with brief cloud cover over mainland regions through the afternoon. Isolated showers may occur.
Winds will blow from the south-southwest at 3 to 5 Beaufort, reaching 6 Beaufort in parts of the southern Aegean. By midday, winds in western areas will shift to northwest at 4 to 5 Beaufort.
Temperatures will drop slightly in western and northern regions. Highs will reach 30–32°C in the Ionian Islands and northern mainland, 34–35°C in central and southern mainland areas, and 32–33°C across the islands.
