FAMAGUSTA GAZETTe – The United States will reposition troops and equipment from Jasionka, a key logistics hub near the Ukrainian border, to other locations in Poland, Defense Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz told the Polish Press Agency (PAP) on Tuesday.
Jasionka, which handles roughly 95% of military aid to Ukraine, is pivotal to support efforts, according to the defense ministry.
The decision has raised questions about the future of U.S. backing for Kyiv.
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said Tuesday that the move does not signify a reduction in U.S. forces in Poland or Europe.
