FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – British Prime Minister Keir Starmer is set to unveil sanctions targeting up to 100 oil tankers linked to Russia’s shadow fleet at the JEF summit in Oslo later.
The measures mark the largest UK sanctions package against the shadow fleet, though details have not been disclosed.
Previous sanctions have restricted the fleet’s access to British ports.
“Every step we take to increase pressure on Russia and achieve a just and lasting peace in Ukraine is another step towards the security and prosperity of Britain,” Starmer said.
