The United Kingdom has updated its travel guidance for Cyprus, keeping the island among destinations for which no “avoid travel” recommendation is in place and lowering its assessed risk level.
The United States has also returned Cyprus to its standard travel‑advice category, reversing earlier cautionary guidance.
Cyprus’s Foreign Ministry welcomed the decisions from London and Washington, calling them a positive development.
