Ukraine has imposed emergency restrictions on the use of electricity after a Russian attack last night.
According to Ukraine’s Energy Minister, German Galushchenko, the attack was aimed at the country’s gas infrastructure.
“The energy sector continues to be under attack this morning,” he wrote on social media, according to Reuters.
The purpose of the restrictions is to limit possible consequences for the energy system, the minister said, according to Reuters. It is not clear what the specific restrictions are.
Russia has not commented on the attack.
