The US military carried out airstrikes on ISIS targets in Somalia on Saturday, President Donald Trump said.
“This morning I ordered the military to conduct targeted strikes against the ISIS group in Somalia,” Trump said on his Truth Social service.
According to the US president, the targets of the airstrikes were the terrorist group’s planner and other members of ISIS.
Trump wrote that the airstrikes killed “multiple terrorists.”
