A woman in Larnaca sustained minor burns while attempting to put out a fire that broke out in a small auxiliary kitchen in the yard of her home, the Fire Service said.
Investigators determined the blaze started from a forgotten pot left on a lit cooking appliance inside the detached kitchen, which sustained extensive damage.
Smoke and heat also affected an adjacent auxiliary kitchen belonging to a neighboring house.
