Police recorded 60 convictions in 2025 for child‑sexual‑abuse offences, according to the Domestic Violence and Child Abuse Office.
The unit said each case reflects a full investigation carried out by specialised officers, with the protection of minors as the priority. It said its work focuses on rapid and effective investigation, child‑friendly procedures and support for victims throughout the process.
Police said the unit works with Hope For Children CRC Policy Center and the Children’s House to provide coordinated assistance to victims.
Authorities stressed that safeguarding children is a shared responsibility.
