A total of 818 kilograms of drugs were seized in Cyprus in 2024.
The newspaper Fileleftheros noted that 218 kilograms more drugs were seized in 2024 than in 2023, and that the most frightening thing was the presence of new types of drugs on the market, the type of which has not yet been determined.
The newspaper noted that most drugs entered the country through Larnaca Airport.
