Russia’s Defense Ministry said Friday its air defense systems shot down five long‑range Ukrainian “Neptune” cruise missiles, a U.S.-made HIMARS rocket and 1,120 drones over the past week.
The ministry said Black Sea Fleet forces also destroyed seven Ukrainian unmanned boats in the northwestern Black Sea.
In response to Ukrainian attacks on civilian sites in Russia from Saturday to Friday, the ministry said Russian forces carried out one massive strike and four group strikes against Ukrainian targets.
