Heavy rainfall around 7:15 a.m. along the Limassol–Paphos highway, particularly near Paramali, caused disruptions to traffic on the motorway and surrounding roads.
Visibility was reduced for drivers, and water buildup in several areas made road surfaces slippery.
Police urged motorists to slow down, keep a safe distance from other vehicles and drive with headlights on.
