Cyprus will see mostly clear skies today, though periods of increased cloud cover are expected, with isolated showers or thunderstorms likely after midday, mainly in the mountains and interior. Hail is possible in storm‑affected areas, the Meteorological Service said.
Winds will range from light to strong, at 3 to 5 Beaufort, and seas will be calm to slight.
Temperatures will rise to 34 C inland, 28 C on the west coast, 30 C on the remaining coasts and 24 C in the higher mountains.
Tonight, conditions will remain mostly clear. Winds will drop to light, around 3 Beaufort, and seas will be calm to slight. Overnight temperatures will fall to 19 C inland and along the coasts, and 14 C in the mountains.
