Recall of Remedica medicines causes concern among patients in Cyprus

The recall of certain medicines produced by pharmaceutical company Remedica has caused concern among patients in Cyprus, it has been reported.

Several news outlets said the Health Insurance Organisation (known by its Greek acronym, OAY) was working to find solutions following the recall of the medicines in question.

According to the report, OAY has issued guidance to doctors and pharmacies on the steps they need to take to ensure patients continue to be served.

The Cypriot Pharmaceutical Services, meanwhile, advised patients not to stop taking the medicines concerned without first consulting their doctors.
