President Nikos Christodoulides departs for France today to inaugurate two major exhibitions showcasing Cyprus’ cultural heritage, held in the context of the Cypriot Presidency of the European Union.
He will then travel to Belgium, where on Thursday he will take part in the Informal European Council, which will focus on European competitiveness.
Before the European Council, the President will attend a meeting of a group of European leaders convened by the German Chancellor and the Prime Ministers of Italy and Belgium, also centred on competitiveness.
Among those accompanying President Christodoulides are the Government Spokesperson, the Deputy Minister for European Affairs and the Deputy Minister of Culture.
