Speaker of the Cypriot Parliament Annita Dimitriou will be in Egypt tomorrow for official contacts.
Phileleftheros reports she will hold official talks between February 23-26 upon the invitation of the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Arab Republic of Egypt Hanafy Ali el-Gebaly.
According to the report, Dimitriou will also meet with the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Hanafy Ali el-Gebaly, as well as the Speaker of the Senate, Abdel Wahab Abdel Razeg, within the framework of his contacts.
Dimitriou will also sign, together with Gebaly, the revised Cooperation Agreement between the two parliaments.
During his visit to Egypt, Dimitriou will also visit Patriarch Theodoros II of Alexandria and All Africa and the Greek community institutions there.
Its been a busy few weeks on the Cyprus- Egypt diplomatic front.
Last week, amemorandum of understanding between the two countries and the three companies of the joint venture was signed in Cairo, which determined the terms of commercialization of the Aphrodite field.
President Christodoulides said that the two agreements have decisive political, geostrategic and economic significance.
