Daily flights between Jordan and Cyprus will operate during the Passover period as Israeli travel company ISSTA seeks to ease pressure on outbound travel caused by restricted air capacity at Tel Aviv’s main airport.
The temporary route will run until April 8, linking Aqaba airport with Paphos in what the company described as an “air bridge” for travelers facing limited options in Israel.
ISSTA said the move follows ongoing operational constraints at Ben Gurion Airport, including caps on passenger numbers per flight and reduced activity by foreign carriers — factors that have sharply reduced available seats during one of the busiest travel periods of the year.
