Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 mysteriously disappeared from radar in 2014, shortly after taking off from Kuala Lumpur en route to Beijing, with 12 crew members and 227 passengers on board.
Despite numerous attempts to locate the wreckage, the plane has never been found.
Now, the marine robotics company Ocean Infinity will use its ships to search for the plane again, according to Malaysia’s Transport Minister, Anthony Loke.
The renewed search brings hope to many, including Malaysian Grace Nathan, whose mother was on board the flight.
She expressed relief and happiness that the search is being resumed.
The search will focus on a new area in the southern Indian Ocean, where experts believe the aircraft may have come to rest.
