FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – Four infants infected with measles are being treated at Makarios Hospital and are reported to be out of danger, according to Cyprus Radio.

The children, aged 13 to 17 months, were found to be attending the same kindergarten.

In a separate case, a six-month-old infant diagnosed with bacterial meningitis and admitted to the hospital recently is also in stable condition and no longer in danger, Elias confirmed.

The Cypriot Ministry of Health is urging children, adolescents, and adults who are not fully vaccinated to receive the MMR vaccine to prevent the spread of measles and avoid a potential epidemic.
