The father of two children who died in the British Bases at Dhekelia will appear before a Bases court on Thursday, authorities said.
His partner has been released without charge.
In a statement, British Bases Police said the investigation into the children’s deaths is ongoing and that officers are not yet in a position to comment on the circumstances or cause of death.
Officials said the inquiry will continue until the case is fully clarified.
Government sources said Cyprus will cover the cost of transporting the children’s bodies to Bulgaria.
