FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – AEGEAN, in collaboration with Hermes Airports, celebrated the launch of its new direct flight route between Larnaca and Rome on Monday, enhancing Cyprus’ connectivity with Italy.
The route will operate every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday throughout the summer season of 2025, with initial flights reporting strong occupancy rates. The airline intends to maintain the connection into winter.
AEGEAN said the direct service provides greater flexibility for travelers and strengthens its presence in the Cypriot market.
Through strategic investments and continued service enhancements, the company aims to boost Cyprus’ interconnection with key European destinations and offer new travel opportunities.
